Homemade Hamburger Helper

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef, onion, paprika, parsley, garlic powder, cayenne powder, salt and pepper. If using a ground beef with a higher fat content add in the seasonings after draining the grease.
  2. Stir in the milk, broth, macaroni and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.

Arugula Salad with Sausage

arugula
sundried tomoatoes
hot sausage
pasta

cook sausage out of casing and crumble
remove sausage and brown sundried tomatoes
add cooked crumbled sausage and arugula until hot
serve over pasta

Savory White Bean and Spinach Pasta Dish

ditalini pasta
onion
vegetable flavor boost broth
1 can white beans
spinach
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
crushed red pepper



cook ditalini pasta
saute onions
in skillet add onions, vegetable flavor booster broth, 1 can white beans, spinach, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, pasta, and crushed red pepper.

Jalopeno Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • Stuffed Rigatoni

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir the garlic and jalapeno pepper in the hot oil until fragrant, about 5 minutes; add the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to low. Stir the Parmesan cheese and rosemary through the mixture; continue cooking until the cheese is completely melted, about 5 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper to serve.

Tri-Color Pasta Salad

tri color pasta
2 cups red vinegar
cubed cheddar cheese
salami
pepperoni
roasted red pepper
1 pack zesty italian dressing seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil

mix togther and enjoy

Macaroni and Cheese with Bread Crumb Top

1 box elbow pasta
6 slices of bacon
1/2 can bread crumbs
1/1/2 sticks of butter
4 cups shred cheddar cheese or any other prefferance
1/2 block of velveeta cheese block
1/1/2 cup milk

cook pasta

melt velveeta cheese and milk
melt 1 stick of butter and coat over cooked noodles
mix noodles and cheese/milk mix
add 4 cups of shredded cheese
melt 2 table spoons butter
pour and mix with bread crumbs
top over macaroni and cheese

bake 350 30 minutes covered

then broil uncovered for 2 minutes

Cheese Kugel Pudding

1 8oz pkg wide noodles
1 cup sour cream
1/2 lb cottage cheese or riccotta
1 large egg
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c rasins
cinnamon
1t butter

boils nooodles, drain and butter. Mix all other ingrediants
bake in greased pan at 350 for 1 hour

Chicken-Etti

From the show 19 kids and Counting

1 pkg spaghetti noodles
3 C Chicken cubed
1/4 C green pepper
1 C chicken broth
1 lb Cheese
1 can diced tomato
1 Can cream of chicken soup

cook chicken and cube
cook spaghetti
combine rest of ingredients and chicken and spaghetti
Stir until combined
cook 350 40 minutes covered

Balsamic Chicken and Couscous

1 box of couscous
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
Chicken breast or thighs
1 tomato
fresh basil
1 onion
fresh mozzerella cheese

cook couscous
cook chicken how every you like then cube it
chop up some basil, tomato and onion
mix up chicken, couscous and 1/4 cup vinegar
top with tomato, basil, and cubed mozzerella cheese
drizzle remaining vinegar

Fiesta Pasta

1 box penne pasta
1/2 can black beans
1 can corn
1 block pepper jack cheese
1 jar marinara sauce

cook pasta according to box
In pan warm up sauce, corn and beans
shred cheese

spoon sauce over pasta and top with shredded cheese. The more shredded cheese
the better.

Garlic Pasta with Sausage and Spinach

1 box Pasta I like Rotina or Penne
1 Bag Sun Dried tomatoes
1 lb sausage sweet italian or spicy
1/4 Cup olive oil
1/4 cup parmasean cheese
1 box frozen spinach
2 Tbls garlic powder
1 Tbls salt

Cook sausage how ever you desire, I bake mine 375 for 30 minutes
Cook pasta according to directions
cook spinach according to directions
In bowl add pasta, olive oil, parmasean cheese, spinach, sausage cut in slices, garlic powder, salt and sundried tomatoes and toss together.

I like do everything in seperate bowls for example:
In one bowl I will add a cup of pasta, drizzle with olive oil, add 7-8 slices of sausgae, a spoonful of spinach, a bunch of sundried tomatoes, and a couple shakes of paramsean cheese, salt, and garlic powder. This also allows left overs to still be tasty.
