2 C all purpose flour
1/1/2 C sugar, divided
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp slat
1C buttermilk
1 egg
1/4C vegetable oil
1Tbsp ground cinnamon
Glaze:
1/4 C confectioners' sugar
1/1/2-2 tsp milk
in large bowl combine flour, 1 C sugar, baking soda and salt.
combine buttermilk, egg and oil, stir, then stir into dry ingredients until just moist
in small bowl combine the cinnamon and remaining sugar
grease bottom of a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan
pour half of batter into pan and then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mix on top of batter
pour remaining batter then sprinkle top with rest of cinnamon sugar mix
swirl a knife through batter
bake 350 for 45-50 minutes
for glaze combine confectioners' sugar and milk and then drizzle over bread
